Wood Wheaton Supercentre x Mad Gaffer Hooked Up Fishing Charter Giveaway (2025)

CONTEST RULES

1 | Contest Period

Contest is valid from June 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025 at Wood Wheaton Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Ltd (herein after referred to as "the Dealership") located at 2879 Highway 16 West in Prince George, BC.
 

2 | Eligibility

This contest is open to all in-store visitors who are residents of Canada aged 19 or over at time of entry, excluding employees of the Dealership or its partners, as well as those living in the same household as such employees. Limit of one entrant per household. Any entry selected as a winner is disqualified from any subsequent prize draws. All entries will be recorded in a spreadsheet and validated for eligibility at the prerogative of the Dealership. Entries deemed to be ineligible as per the Contest Rules will be disqualified and removed from the contest by the Dealership.
 

3 | How to Enter

No purchase necessary to enter. Contest is open to all in-store visitors who accurately and completely fill in the ballot form during open business hours between June 1, 2025 and July 31, 2025 at the Dealership. If the information provided on any ballot is found to be inaccurate or incomplete, the entry will be void. Each eligible visitor as per Section 2 may enter one (1) time via written ballot submitted to any one (1) of the ballot boxes located at the Showroom Reception Desk, the Service Cashier Desk, or the QuickLube Cashier Desk. Duplicate ballot entries will be void. Three (3) bonus entries to the contest will be generated on behalf of all customers who purchase/lease a vehicle (excludes fleet), purchase ceramic coating, purchase StoneShield paint protection film, purchase tires, or purchase a wheel alignment during the contest period. Each one of these activities constitutes three (3) bonus entries additional to a ballot entry that will be added to the prize draw by the Dealership, and can only be counted one time each. For instance, a customer who purchases two sets of tires will only earn three (3) bonus entries. However, a customer who purchases a vehicle and purchases ceramic coating will earn six (6) bonus entries. The maximum number of contest entries for each eligible entrant is sixteen (16) -- one (1) via ballot plus fifteen (15) via bonus entries.
 

4 | Prize Description

Two (2) prizes of a 1-day, 4-person fishing charter booking with Mad Gaffer Fishing Adventures in Prince Rupert, BC are to be awarded as per the table in Section 5. The charters are to be booked by the prize winners within the 2025 or 2026 seasons subject to scheduling availability, terms, conditions, and sole discretion of Mad Gaffer Fishing Adventures. The retail value of each prize is $1750.00 CAD. The prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. Contest winners are responsible for any additional expenses associated with participating in the prize, including but not limited to any necessary travel, accommodations, or licensing.
 

5 | Prize Drawing

The draw will be recorded and broadcasted via Facebook Live on the Wood Wheaton Supercentre Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WoodWheatonSupercentre). Winners will be randomly selected via a random number generator (the entry contained within the spreadsheet row number corresponding to the randomly generated number will be the winner). Winners will be contacted by either phone or email at least three (3) times within seven (7) days. If the winners cannot be reached by that time, another entrant will be randomly selected and the initially selected entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse.

6 | Chances of Winning

Chances of winning is dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the specific and corresponding draw period. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest, however, the odds of winning are higher for those who qualify for the additional bonus entries as described within Section 3. 
 

7 | Condition of Participation

Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these contest rules by the entrant. The Dealership does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from participation in this contest or the prize. The prize winners agree by accepting the prize to release the Dealership from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the contest, including liability arising from the acceptance of or participation in the prize(s) as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules. By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes and in all mediums utilized by Wood Wheaton Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Ltd without payment or compensation.
